IRCTC website crashed again, 2nd time in a month, passengers were unable to book tickets for an hour

IRCTC website Users booking tickets on IRCTC’s website have once again faced problems. On the last day of the year, around 10 am, users booking Tatkal tickets faced problems, after which they shared screenshots on social media to share their problems.

The website of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has once again been found to be faulty, due to which passengers are not able to book Tatkal tickets for their journey. According to reports, passengers booking Tatkal tickets at 10 am faced a problem. On the other hand, due to the booking being disrupted, the passengers who reached the platform heard the announcement from the railway that the booking facility will be disrupted on all sites for the next one hour.

This is the second time in a row in the last month of December of the year that this glitch has been seen in the IRCTC website, due to which Tatkal ticket booking has been disrupted. The passengers who reached the platform to book tickets also got the message that ‘Booking and cancellation will not be available for all sites for the next one hour due to maintenance work, we are very sorry for the inconvenience.’ Earlier on 26 December also, the IRCTC server had crashed.

Tatkal ticket booking badly affected

According to the report, the server faced this problem on Tuesday morning, due to which the people who booked Tatkal tickets faced the most problems, who were trying to book their tickets a day before to reach their destination. Outage tracking service Downdetector noticed this problem around 10 am and according to it, about 700 users reported facing this problem.
