In the bus Pradeep Kumar of Meerut, who was injured in the Reasi terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, has made new revelations regarding the incident. He said on Tuesday (June 11) – Thank God that our bus fell into a ditch after the attack.

If the bus had not fallen into the ditch, the terrorists would have killed all of us. We survived after falling into the ditch. However, even after falling into the ditch, the terrorists were firing.

The firing continued until all the passengers stopped screaming. In fact, on June 9, an hour before the swearing-in of PM Modi, two terrorists opened fire on a bus going from Shiv Khodi to Katra in Jammu and Kashmir. The 53 seater bus fell into a ditch when the driver was shot.

9 people died and 41 were injured in the incident. Security forces cordoned off the area and conducted a search operation, but no suspect was found. Pradeep was traveling in this bus. He said that the terrorists had come wearing army uniform.

The bodies of those killed in the attack were scattered at the scene. Local people had launched a rescue operation to save the injured.

Eyewitness said – When I woke up the bus was falling into the ditch. Injured Pradeep said that the bus had just left Shiv Khodi temple. People were tired after trekking Vaishno Devi. Many passengers had fallen asleep. I also fell asleep. The bus was climbing the valley. That’s why the speed was slow. Suddenly at around 6 pm the sound of gunshots came.

People sitting in front started shouting. When I woke up, the bus was going down the ditch. I was continuously hearing the sound of gunshots. The bus got stuck between a tree and a small mountain.

After this, people passing by the road informed the police and a rescue operation was conducted. If we had not acted like we were dying, we probably would not have been alive today.

5 teams engaged in search operation, NIA also engaged in investigation Jammu and Kashmir LG announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the families of those who lost their lives in the accident. At the same time, an assistance amount of Rs 50 thousand will also be given to the injured. To help the injured, a control room was also set up near the incident site.

A joint team of police, army and CRPF is being formed and efforts are being made to catch the attackers. Five separate teams have also been formed for the search operation. NIA team has also reached the spot for investigation.

The culprits will not be spared Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken stock of the situation and has directed me to keep an eye on the situation. Whoever is behind this act will be punished as soon as possible. PM Modi has directed to provide health care and help to all the injured.
