Modi A new date for the swearing-in of the Modi government was announced on Thursday (6 June). According to news agency ANI, Modi may take oath on 9 June at 6 pm. Earlier, there were reports of swearing-in on 8 June.
According to sources, all the ministers who won the Lok Sabha elections will be repeated this time as well. The names of the faces involved in the controversy may be removed from the list of ministers. The party may give another chance to Smriti Irani and Rajiv Chandrashekhar who lost the elections. They may again get ministerial posts.

An important meeting was held at the house of BJP President JP Nadda in Delhi. Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh were also present in it. BJP does not have majority, but has the support of 53 MPs from 14 allies.
BJP has got 240 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. This is 32 seats less than the majority figure (272). However, NDA crossed the majority mark with 293 seats. Apart from BJP, NDA has 53 MPs from 14 alliance parties.
In the alliance, Chandrababu’s TDP is the second largest party with 16 seats and Nitish’s JDU is the third largest party with 12 seats. Both the parties are important for BJP at this time. Without them, it is difficult for BJP to form the government.

JDU is eyeing a special package for Bihar along with the Ministry of Railways and Agriculture. TDP has demanded 5 ministries and the post of Lok Sabha Speaker. These include Rural Development, Housing and Urban Affairs, Ports and Shipping, Road Transport and Highways and Jal Shakti Ministry.
TDP is also demanding additional charge of the Finance Ministry. The economic condition in Andhra Pradesh is very bad due to free schemes. Therefore, Naidu wants that he should get additional charge of the Finance Ministry.
The 10 most powerful and prosperous ministries of the central government are Home, Defense, Finance, Foreign, Railways, Information Broadcasting, Education, Agriculture, Road Transport and Civil Aviation. Due to having a single majority, BJP kept all the major departments with itself in 2019 and 2014.
